As the casting and entertainment industry navigates through the rapidly evolving circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we want to address how we are handling the situation internally and externally. The health and well-being of our community, clients, and employees is our top priority. 

 

Casting Directors

You may be exploring ways to mitigate or reduce foot traffic through your offices and studios in the short term. There are some ways in which we are ready to help:

Self Tapes

If you’ve chosen to transition your in-person auditions to self tapes, we’d be happy to help. Our team will provide an easy, secure way for you to request self-tapes from reps and talent, and then see those self tapes in your Casting Networks® projects.

FastCapture® / Skype Integration 

FastCapture users are able to video conference via Skype, BlueJeans, Google Hangouts or Zoom and simultaneously capture audition footage. 

 

Talent Representatives

Casting directors may move forward without in-person auditions for their projects in the coming days and weeks. As a result, you may see some Audition Requests from Casting Networks, in the form of a self tape request. 

You’ll likely receive specific instructions to upload videos via castingnetworks.wetransfer.com

Once we have received your video(s) and downloaded the files, you will receive a confirmation email from WeTransfer. All self-tapes will be uploaded as quickly as possible, processing them in order of their arrival.

 

Cast It Users

Please note, we have temporarily suspended in-person equipment drop-offs/pick-ups for the short term future.

 

Our staff is currently working remotely, is fully operational, and will continue to be available via phone and email during our regular business hours and for after-hours and weekend support.
