Casting Networks

The 35th annual Artios Awards were held last month, celebrating exceptional casting in film, television, and theatre across the globe. The awards show, presented by Casting Society of America (CSA) and attended by the world’s leading casting directors and industry insiders, took place on January 30th, 2020 in Los Angeles, New York City, and London.

At the Los Angeles ceremony, actress Geena Davis was awarded the Stalmaster Award for Career Achievement, and distinguished casting director Deborah Aquila won the Hoyt Bowers Award for Excellence in Casting. New York and London honorees included actress Audra McDonald, casting director Andrew Femenella, casting director Andy Pryor, and casting associates Stacia Kimler and Kate Sprance.

Rachel Dorfman, VP of Client Relations, was thrilled to represent Casting Networks® at the Los Angeles awards show: “It was such a pleasure to be able to support so many talented casting directors and associates as they were honored in recognition of their craft,” said Dorfman. “The celebration of the 35th annual Artios Awards is a testament to not only the CSA as an organization but also to the tenacity and commitment of its members.”

Congratulations to all the nominees, winners, and honorees at this year’s Artios Awards. We look forward to attending in future years and continuing to support and advocate for the amazing work of casting directors across the globe.
